Inaugural Bridge Street Town Centre Half Marathon to Kick Off This Arpil
Alabama finally has a half marathon in April! The new Bridge Street Town Centre Half Marathon is set to kick off on Sunday April 13, 2014 in Huntsville, Alabama. However, the race is limited to 1000 runners and is not walker friendly, only allowing 3 hours maximum for runners to finish, so not extremely community oriented, but it's a start, getting a half marathon on the books for Alabama in April! Post race food and finisher party will wrap the day up at the Bridge Street Town Centre.

Inaugural Biggest Loser Half Marathon Coming to Mobile Alabama in 2014
The Biggest Loser Run/Walk Mobile Half Marathon, 5k and 1 mile kids run is set to kick off their inaugural event this upcoming February 9th, 2014 on a Sunday.
This event is a race for all fitness levels, whether you are ready to set a personal record, or this is your first race. Each registered participant and finisher will receive the following:

One of a Kind Half Marathon at Talladega Superspeedway this September
Ladies and Gentlemen start your engines!!!! Come Race Talladega Superspeedway!!!
This one of a kind Half Marathon starts and finishes on the Track and you will experience every part of the Superspeedway. You’ll be running on the apron of the track (not on the incline); above the Track looking down on the turn embankments; through the grandstands and outside on the grounds of the Track. You’ll see breathtaking views of the entire grounds and run in places very few people have ever had access to before! After you cross the finish line, have your picture taken on Victory Lane and then head over to the Pit Garage on Pit Road for the post race party. Party with live music, Jim ‘N Nick’s Bar-B-Q and lots of cold drinks. And it’s finally a race to benefit men. The event will be raising funds for Prostate Cancer Programs.
You don’t want to miss this one. IT’S DEGA BABY! A maximum of 1500 runners will be allowed to participate in the half marathon so please register early. Once the event reaches 1500 participants they will close registration.
Additionally, Fifty 50 States HALF Marathon Club members will receive a discount to this event.
